This contemporary modern home was built in Lenoir County for the May family.

Located next to a big pond, the white exterior home was accented with black through the trim of the windows, the garage doors, the gutter, the exterior sconce lighting, and the black metal awning roofing. The front door and front porch and back porch columns were made with a textured fiberglass that was stained. The benefit to this is that you get the look of wood, but you don’t have to worry about it eventually rotting overtime.

The black accents, brown wood, and white color scheme of the exterior continues into the home through several details—the glass pocket doors of the office, the floor to ceiling electric fireplace, the exposed wood beams on the ceiling, and an industrial black metal ceiling fan.

Some details not as easily spotted can be found throughout the kitchen and pantries. To enter the main pantry, you walk through a five-panel glass swivel door that makes you feel like you are working in a five-star Michelin restaurant. The butler’s panty is just as impressive with a built-in wine cooler and shelving.

The master bathroom is entered through a hanging barn door. It is completed with a pebbled-floor tiled shower, separate vanity sinks, and a free standing tub. The master closet has built-in shelving and a center island as well, so they can fold clothes or plan their outfits for the week.

When you go outside to bask in the sun and take in the water, they will be able to lounge on a tech enabled back porch ready for a Sunday football game on the TV and security camera access for when they’re away, making sure their dream home is always safe and cared for.
