This beautiful, contemporary home was built for the McAlexander’s in the country near Goldsboro, NC.
The exterior was white with black accents in the roof and gutters and stone detailing around the crawl space of the home and on certain facades. The stone added a pleasing vertical and horizontal balance to the front design of the home, balancing the black accents with the main exterior color. It also added texture to the front of the home, breaking it up, and creating a draw that catches the eye.
The front porch was complete with arched porch beams and craftsman style columns and black stamped concrete floors.
The inside of the home included trim ceilings—a diamond coffered ceiling in the foyer and a regular coffered ceiling in the living room. The living room was built with tall ceilings and an open floor concept that included a white interior stone fireplace flanked by built-in shelving and cabinet space. Perfect for storage and entertaining!
The back porch included a stone fireplace as well as tile plank floors and an Easy Breeze screen system keeping it well-insulated in the winter and allowing you to open the back porch easily in the summer!
