This beautiful home was built in Meare’s Bluff for the Pennington's. The white exterior is contrasted with the black window and door trims and a uniquely accented metal front porch roof.

When entering the interior, details will immediately start to pop out at you including the diamond shaped wood inlaid foyer roof and the floor to ceiling brick wood-burning fireplace.

Above the fireplace is an antique wood mantle that the Meadows sourced themselves. It was actually so heavy that we created a reinforced frame in order to hold it up! One of the values in custom homes is being able to bring in meaningful items and elements and building a design around them. Another unique detail are the two antique corbels that divide the kitchen from the living room, purchased from the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.

Continuing into the kitchen, there are white appliances to match the cabinets and gold accents throughout. A neutral tile back splash helped accent and add texture to the kitchen space.

Custom homes also mean custom bathrooms and closets! With the Pennington's, we built a master bathroom with a free standing tub, a walk-in shower that can be entered from either side, and a large closet with a center island, complete with ample storage from clothing and shoes.

There is also a blue mudroom that duals as a butler’s pantry, an entertainment/bonus room that has a projector and screen, and an outdoor grilling area and entertainment area that can be used year round due to the Easy Breeze system insulating and screening in their porch against the harsh winter weather and the pesky summer bugs.
