This Tudor style home was designed for The Taylor’s in The Chase neighborhood in Goldsboro, NC. Some of our favorite exterior accents include the custom wood window shutters, columns, and gable accents. This added a unifying texture, color, and style to the exterior of the home.

The wood detailing was carried into the home through exposed white wood beams in the ceiling of the entry way and the living room. We paired these with recessed lighting and a candelabra chandelier to elevate the interior space. A sliding white barn door was used as the kitchen pantry door to continue the white wood detailing present in the kitchen and throughout the home.

The mantle of the sitting room fireplace was designed around a piece of wood from Mrs. Taylor’s home where she grew up. We love the concept of mixing the old with the new and incorporating personal touches – this is the beauty of a custom home after all!

Other outdoor space details include a stone fireplace wired for mounting a tv and a complimenting stone porch floor, perfect for entertaining throughout the year.

A pine tongue-and-groove white-washed ceiling was used in the main bedroom to add some interest. The Taylor’s custom main bathroom included a free standing tub, detailed tiling throughout, and a shower with two entrances on either side of the tub.
